Deb TaftDeb Taft, CEO and co-owner, Lindauer

Deb Taft is CEO and co-owner of Lindauer, one of the world’s leading executive search and talent firms serving the nonprofit profession, with a historic focus on senior development positions. She brings over 25 years of executive and senior-level experience across the nonprofit sector, from education to healthcare/academic medicine to the youth service and voluntary sectors. Deb’s considerable expertise includes talent recruitment, retention, development and governance.

Prior to joining Lindauer, Deb was Senior Executive Vice President and Managing Director for Grenzebach Glier and Associates (GG+A), a premier global philanthropic consulting firm. Deb also served as Chief Development Officer and Interim Chief Strategy Officer for Girl Scouts of the USA. Her range of professional expertise includes executive and senior development roles at Simmons University, Tufts Medical Center and Floating Hospital for Children, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund, and Concord Academy. She was a founding team member of City Year.

Deb is a member and former Chair of the Human Rights Campaign Foundation Board of Directors and was last year recognized as a Leading Woman of Massachusetts by the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts. She serves the nonprofit industry as a member of the Editorial Review Board for Giving USA and the Industry Advisory Council, the Curriculum and Content Task Force, and the Mid-Career transition working group for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). Deb holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University and an MBA from Simmons School of Management.

Deb will speak to the group on a range of topics of interest to those interested in learning more about the world of Nonprofits, Development and Development opportunities, and for those interested in learning how to work with Retained Executive Search Firms.
