For over a century, Italian Home for Children has been improving the lives of children and their families through education, residential options, and behavioral health support.
We are seeking diverse candidates to join our well-established board which has fiduciary responsibility over this $15 million agency. With 23 current members, there is room for two more directors. Terms are three years with option to renew one time. In looking at our board composition, we are looking for individuals with knowledge and skillset in Human Resources, Risk Management, Fundraising, Public Relations, Engineering/Architecture, and Law.
Every Director of the Board attends 6-7 board meetings per year while also joining one or two monthly committees. We encourage BIPOC members of our community to apply. The minimum yearly contribution expectation is to give or raise at least $5,000.
The agency is currently in a critical moment of change with new program lines opening, capital dollars to be spent on campus/buildings, and an aggressive strategic plan. We need you to help us make it happen!
