All Star Code is dedicated to addressing the underrepresentation of young men of color in the tech industry, a sector known for its rapid growth, high salaries, and resilience to economic downturns. All Star Code believes in the crucial role that people of color play in fostering innovation through diverse perspectives and seeks to provide a tech career pathway for black and brown young men.
Program Highlights:
Summer Intensive: A 6-week or 3-week, project-based web development course offering over 200 hours of computer science instruction and soft skills development. This program aims to break down barriers unique to young men of color, focusing on technical skill acquisition, confidence building, resilience, and network development.
Achievements and Impact:
All Star Code’s approach has been instrumental in preparing the next generation of tech leaders by emphasizing the importance of diversity in driving innovation. By providing a supportive learning environment, All Star Code ensures that its Scholars are well-equipped to pursue successful careers in tech. 66% of our graduates go on to major or minor in a computer science-related field.
