Detailed Information

Overall, I have non-profit volunteer experience as a fundraiser, committee chair, organizational liaison, speaker and mentor.  I’ve been involved in capital campaigns and annual funds as a donor. My background is a broad swath of experience rather than specific disciplines.  My dream someday is to work in beagle rescue, to ensure no dogs are used for testing or in puppy mills.  Ideally I would like to be on a board that supports animals, but recognize that there are limited opportunities in this area.

Professionally I have been a project manager, team leader, client relationship manager in wealth management risk and control for over 20 years.  I also have experience in training and policy writing. I have outstanding experience building partnerships, collaborating with stakeholders and initiating new projects.  I have strong communication skills and am adept at managing responsibilities in fast-paced environments.  I am creative and a problem-solver, always looking to create efficiencies and streamline processes, i.e. thinking out of the box.  I have been successful in building relationship, strategic decision-making and ultimately helping others succeed.

As a business teacher for the last several years, I have taught marketing, entrepreneurship, accounting, financial literacy and hospitality.  I’ve been a DECA (business club) advisor, oversaw curriculum and offered career guidance and resume writing to high school students.
