The Community Vitalization Council (“CiViC”) in southern California is growing its Board of Directors and invites to apply individuals with interests and backgrounds in entrepreneurship, business financing, grants management, community development, business education and economics.
CiViC is committed to building a diverse and vibrant Board of Directors.
As a director on our board, you will be in a position to make significant contributions to nurturing inclusive and constructive dialogue within the communities we work with, and to collaborating for community economic growth.
A 2-year commitment is preferred. The time commitment averages 8 hours per month. In-person meetings are likely in late 2022 in the Irvine area. However, remote participation is possible.
CiViC is committed to community-level economic vitality and the development of stable funding streams for disadvantaged communities.
In its work to implement best practices for the creation and healthy growth of small businesses, CiViC collaborates with cities, economic development agencies, Chambers of Commerce and other non-profit organizations.
