Detailed Information

Acton Food Pantry (AFP) is committed to alleviating food insecurity in our area by partnering with the community to provide access to food with care, dignity, and respect.

We are recruiting new members to our board as we embark on the exciting project to expand into new space and serve more clients more effectively. The Pantry recently won a competitive bid from the town to take over the lease of property in Acton. In exchange for nominal rent the Pantry is taking on the $1.25 million cost of renovating the space. We are in the midst of fundraising, building design, and program development to improve and increase our services to the surprisingly high number of households in our community that benefit from them

We seek local professionals who are committed to mitigating food insecurity in our area. We seek candidates who have leadership experience in any of the following areas: finance, marketing, non-profit management, law or fundraising.
