The Northeaster MA Chapter serves 61 cities and towns. There are roughly 300 active Northeastern Red Cross volunteers. Every day we provide care to people when they need it most – after a fire, when a patient in a hospital needs blood, when a military family needs emergency assistance, and when people want to learn lifesaving skills.
The Northeastern Chapter of the American Red Cross of MA is actively recruiting board members. The critical role of the local Red Cross board is to partner with and provide guidance to the Executive Director in developing and monitoring local strategies to deliver mission-related services, raise funds in accordance with the Red Cross goals, and be recognized as the “Face of the Red Cross” in their communities. The northeastern chapter Board member support directly affects our ability to deliver the Red Cross mission down the street, throughout Massachusetts, and across the nation.
