Detailed Information

COGdesign expands equitable access to green and open spaces through community-focused participatory landscape design in Greater Boston.  We are a small but mighty organization helping to empower diverse local communities to realize their dreams of creating sustainable green spaces. COGdesign has been a pioneer in developing participatory planning processes that put communities’ needs first.

The board meets virtually six times a year and gathers in person for an annual retreat.  All board members serve on at least one committee where they play an active role in developing and overseeing the implementation of our strategic plan and operating priorities.  Board members also participate in events like design reviews and community garden open houses.

We are actively seeking to expand and diversify our board.

Is there an annual minimum give ($)?
No, but we do ask board members to make a personally meaningful contribution.
