DIABLO BALLET Ð BOARD MEMBER POSITION OPENINGS Expertise Desired: Fundraising, Finance, Governance, Law, Community Engagement Committee Needs: Board Members (2) & Committee Members (Finance, Fund Development, Education, and Nominating/Governance/DEI) Diablo Ballet, an internationally-recognized dance company founded in 1993, which proudly presents an award-winning arts education outreach program, is currently seeking to expand its volunteer Board of Directors in furtherance of its mission: To enrich, inspire, and educate children and adults through the art of dance.     • Individuals from a wide range of professional expertise
    • Individuals who are passionate about movement education and the arts
    • Individuals with the ability to make introductions to others in their professional network(s)
    • Individuals with the ability to commit approximately 6 – 10 hours per month to Diablo Ballet (as more particularly described above in ÒAdditional DetailsÓ)
What does joining the board mean?
    • All board and committee meetings are currently held remotely. Moving forward, the majority of meetings will be held remotely to enable individuals from other locations to participate.
    • Board members participate in monthly board meetings and ad-hoc committee meetings as appropriate.
    • All board members serve on at least one committee, attend as many performances and fundraising events as possible, and attend Chamber and other community engagement events where possible.
