Family Assistance Ministries

Family Assistance Ministries (FAM) seeks to attract Leadership volunteers for its Board who contribute their time, talent and treasure and promote FAM and itÕs work in the community. FAM is currently governed by a board representing a variety of professions, areas of expertise, and communities throughout the region. Examples of desired attributes:

• • A commitment in representing and promoting FAMÕs faith-based mission and fundraising efforts throughout the community with Personal and Professional ethics and integrity

• • Strategic & Innovative Leaders with expertise in at least one of the following areas:

Financial management, entrepreneurship, business law, development/fundraising, human resources Specific duties of the Board include:

• • Attend Board meetings every month held third Thursday from 6-7:30 pm, participate in minimum one (1) Committee meeting as requested, and attend FAM sponsored events annually

• • Develop, approve and evaluate goals and objectives to further the organizationÕs mission

• • Ensure the financial accountability for the organization
