We are FamilyKind Ltd., one of the few organizations working to make divorce and separation more of a transition and less of a trauma. We offer sliding scale services, such as parent coordination with a view toward making life better for the children and dealing with difficult issues; information classes; mediation; pre-marital programs including financial management and programs for parents about parenting.
We would love board members with a diverse set of skills. Social media would be great, but other skills are also needed. We have one large fund raising gala each year, which generates most of the organization’s contributions. Our board meetings are via zoom and the by laws allow e mail voting. The board meets quarterly; There are active committees that meet regularly.
