Volunteer Board & Committee Members

Do you have expertise in Finance, Legal, Digital & Social Media Marketing, Fundraising, Policy & Advocacy, Organizational Development, or Business Leadership? Leverage your skills to support Grandmothers’ Village Project (GVP) in delivering excellence in affordable, net-zero elder housing, complete with a regenerative organic farm and a eco-education-retreat center.

Our Mission:

The Grandmothers Village Project is a not-for-profit organization founded to uphold and provide respect, honor, and care for our Elders, centering on our Grandmothers. Our mission is to foster a healthy and sustainable environment; promote social, economic, environmental, housing, food, and spiritual justice, and strengthen democracy for our BIPOC Elder Women/Grandmothers, and Grandfathers.

Length of Terms: Board Members will serve a three-year term, with a review after the first year, and eligibility to renew at the end of each term.

This is an extraordinary opportunity for individuals passionate about GVP’s mission, with a track record of leadership or professional accomplishment. Selected Board Members will have demonstrated leadership in business, government, philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector.
