We raise funds in the US to give grants for Montessori initiatives serving under-resourced communities across the globe. WeÕre a very young nonprofit.ÊÊ We have given small grants to organizations in East Africa, South Africa, and within the US.Ê
At this time, we are primarily an all volunteer organization. (We have two part time workers).
We need to grow into a professionally run nonprofit to serve the number of grant applicants. Having a strategic plan to move in that direction is needed. We do have a solid budgeting process, a strong grant handbook to guide members of the grant committee. Our board is strong, but we need help with more board members.
