Detailed Information

National Sawdust is a dynamic nonprofit performance venue and incubator for new music, based in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Founded with the belief that the future of music depends on bold experimentation and inclusive collaboration, we support emerging and established artists across genres through residencies, commissions, and innovative performances.

Housed in a state-of-the-art, architecturally renowned space, National Sawdust serves as a platform for artistic risk-taking, community engagement, and cultural dialogue. Our mission is rooted in equity, experimentation, and excellence — empowering creators, uplifting underrepresented voices, and cultivating new audiences for the music of tomorrow.

As we enter our second decade, we are seeking mission-aligned board members who are passionate about the arts and eager to shape the future of music. This is a unique opportunity to join a visionary organization at a pivotal moment of growth, sustainability, and impact.
