We are looking to add an experienced and motivated Director of Fundraising to our team. Please note this is a VOLUNTEER role. As Director of Fundraising, you will have the opportunity to plan, direct and coordinate all the Sanctuary Hostel’s Fundraising plans and campaigns. You will work closely with all of Sanctuary’s constituents to ensure the long-term success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all fundraising efforts in Mexico and United States.
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising and development plan, fundraising materials, events, and campaigns in collaboration with the entire Sanctuary team.
- Plan, coordinate and oversee all fundraising activities.
- Create innovative ways to effectively engage donor audiences.
- Direct solicitations of philanthropic contributions for all aspects of the Sanctuary Hostel’s work.
- Create and implement new and innovative ways to engage with our donor base.
- Nurture relationships with long-term donors, and research and expand our network.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Prior experience in Fundraising and donor cultivation
- Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills including exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management and leadership skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Passion for the mission of the organization
Director – Outreach & Partnerships Summary: The Director – Outreach & Partnerships will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors. They will work closely with the executive team and other volunteers to identify and pursue development opportunities, and to ensure the long-term success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors
- Work closely with the executive team and other volunteers to identify and pursue new development opportunities
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to client retention and satisfaction, and develop and execute strategies to address any issues or opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams, including customer support and operations, to ensure a seamless and positive experience for clients and partners
- Represent the organization to external stakeholders, including at conferences, events, and other networking opportunities
- Continuously evaluate and improve relationship management systems and processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide regular updates and reports to the executive team and board of directors on relationship management activities and results
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA a plus
- 2+ years of experience in relationship management, sales, or business development
- Strong knowledge of relationship management principles and best practices
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and tools
- Passion for saving stray animals and making the world a better place for all creatures
